This may be a political cartoon by Pat Bagley, but it fully captures what is historically seen by both sides, and still seen, especially in the deep south and Midwest kkk-haven states, such as Indiana and Missouri.

While black persons are called “savages,” and told they’re uncivilized and don’t know how to behave, the SAME persons, who make that ignorant statement, will not remember or even know about the following savage and violent acts, which resulted in no rioters being indicted, but instead praised and rewarded:
